Confidentiality and Security
Data Backup
All data are saved on an external hard disk on a daily basis. In the event of unforeseen hardware or software failure backup hardware (computer, printer) and software is available to ensure project completion within the stipulated timeframe.
Firewall and Virus Protection
Data and programs are protected by a firewall and internet security program, which is continuously updated by the manufacturer to provide state of the art protection against viruses and external attacks.
Archiving/Deletion of Data
In general, data are archived on external media. Upon request and specific instruction data will be permanently deleted after project completion.
Confidentiality Agreement
At AKF Medical Language Services data protection has top priority. Prior to placement of any order with translators, editors or other vendors it is mandatory that they sign a confidentiality agreement to ensure the protection of customer data.
